The Story Behind ReynWicks and Little Creek Farm

My homesteading journey is just beginning, but it’s already filled with meaning, purpose, and passion. My husband and I live on 17 peaceful acres in North Carolina, where a quiet creek winds through the land—that serene stream inspired the name Little Creek Farm.

The idea for ReynWicks took root soon after I became a certified beekeeper. As I tended to my hives and harvested honey, I began hand-pouring pure beeswax candles using wax from our own bees. I wanted a name that honored both my heritage and my craft. My maiden name is Reynolds, and I’ve always loved the nickname Reyn. Combining that with “Wicks” for the candles felt like the perfect match—and ReynWicks was born.

But our story doesn’t stop with candles.

As my connection to beekeeping deepened, I expanded into creating raw honey products and natural skincare made with beeswax, honey, and herbs grown right here on the farm. Today, ReynWicks offers more than light—we offer nourishment, wellness, and a piece of our land in every product.

From hand-poured beeswax candles and small-batch honey to nourishing balms and soaps, everything we make reflects a deep respect for the bees, the earth, and the simple beauty of handmade living.
